Amber Pierre

Amber Pierre grew up in a missionary family in Haiti and was homeschooled through high school. After college, Amber returned to Haiti to work as a translator, and also worked in a Christian school founded by her parents – Sonlight Academy – for 8 years, teaching 5th grade and high school Bible. She married Stev, her next door neighbor since childhood, and they moved to the United States.

Amber and Stev live in Noblesville and have four children whom they homeschooled until joining to the Academy in 2022. Amber comes from a legacy of education and feels strongly that education is the surest way to shape culture, change lives, and share Christ. She believes doing so while drinking coffee is an even better bet.
