Amber Pierre earned a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and French. She grew up in a missionary family in Haiti and was homeschooled through high school. After college, Amber returned to Haiti to work as a translator, but also worked in a Christian school founded by her parents – Sonlight Academy – for 8 years. She married Stev, her next door neighbor since childhood, and they returned to the states for him to finish his civil engineering degree.

Amber and Stev live in Noblesville and have four children whom they homeschooled until coming to the Academy in 2022. For the past 5 years, Amber has worked as a Kids Director at their local church. Amber comes from a legacy of education and feels strongly that education is the surest way to shape culture, change lives, and share Christ. She believes doing so while drinking coffee is an even better bet.
